will be conducting both baseball and softball camps for Ministry To The
Poor in conjunction with Global Baseball for ages 8 to 35. Bob Harold

Bob was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds. He
signed to play baseball for the Reds and played in their minor league

fortunate and a passion for the game of baseball. They feel very
fortunate to be able to come to the Philippines and serve the people in
this capacity. Please pray for this time that the spirit of good will
and lasting friendships could be developed.

Ochoa, Ministry To The Poor (MttP) President and US Outreach
Coordinator is working closely with MttP Philippine Outreach

PRAISE
REPORT Sent: Friday, July 01, 2005 5:27 AM
Evangelistic Baseball Camp was
held here in Libjo, Batangas City when 3 American Missionaries of the
Global Baseball Mission visited us and taught our kids from 8 years old
and above, the game of baseball. This group is headed by Bro. Bob
Harold with Bro. Mike Van Holten and Bro. Jim Dye. The kids were taught
pitching, batting, throwing and catching. They were grouped from 8 to
12 , 13 to 15 and 16 & above.
On the first day, after the training about 100 kids were led to
salvation prayer by the three missionaries assisted by the volunteered
workers here. On the second day, testimonies of the missionaries were
shared to the kids in each group. On the third and fourth day bible
stories were shared by the volunteers. On the fifth day Saturday we
invited the parents of the kids for their graduation day. The
graduates were given a certificate of completion and this coincide with
MttP's Evangelistic Grocery Giving Outreach (EGGO). Word of
God was preached by Pastor Art Alano from California. A total
of 80 parents and adults surrendered their life to Jesus including
three barangay councilors.
The baseball training is still going on every Saturday afternoon with
Mr. Emplica, the local baseball trainer. Here, Word of God is
still shared to those kids on training. Their parents are also followed
up by our brethren here.
